WORKFLOW

1. ELICITATION
Complete a requirements list of elicited requirements using a ‘toolbox’ of Requirement Engineering elicitation techniques.

2. ANALYSIS
Use best practice to engineer a Requirement Catalogue/Model (as appropriate) from the ‘Requirements list’. The resulting requirements must be structured, necessary, feasible, testable, conform to ‘what a good requirement should look like’, reviewed against best practice, amended to completion and finally baselined.

3.VALIDATION
Is the formal acknowledgement that we have a set of good requirements. The baselined requirements catalogue/ model are reviewed and amended (as appropriate) to identify any problems that have to be resolved before the document(s) can be signed off and baselined.
